The Assienda bar, Soi Chaiyapoon

The Assienda bar is located in Soi Chaiyapoon in Pattaya, Thailand. As you might expect the rather tongue in cheek name is influenced by the famous Hacienda Club, now The Factory, in Manchester, England. The bar matches the colour scheme from pale blue walls to the famous yellow and black hazard stripes.

Music is the core of the bar’s attraction and, again, as you might expect follows the “Madchester” scene from the ’80s and ’90s – from indie to acid house and rave. Since opening the bar has been very successful, especially with the expat community.
